The White House app debuts at #17 as administration bypasses press
The official White House app enters the chart at #17, its first appearance ever. The administration spent Monday promoting it directly to supporters after restricting media access, pushing it up Apple's News category alongside X, which sits at #27.
2. Thirteen new entries and most of them are work apps
Microsoft Authenticator arrives at #26, Teams at #51, Copilot #67, Outlook #78, Zoom #89 and LinkedIn #71. Google Docs (+27 to #61), Drive (+24 to #53) and Indeed (+32 to #43) climbed alongside them. Business went from one app in the top 100 to five.
3. Sports apps emptied out of the chart after the weekend
NFL fell 63 places to #91, DraftKings dropped 36 to #74 and Fubo lost 37 to #47. FanDuel, ESPN and PrizePicks left the top 100 entirely, leaving prediction markets Polymarket (#4) and Kalshi (#8) as the only sports-adjacent apps up top.
4. Streaming services gave back everything they gained over the weekend
YouTube TV fell 17 to #28, Paramount+ 17 to #30, Amazon Prime Video 22 to #58 and VIZIO WatchFree+ 25 to #85. Hulu, Peacock and FOX One, which sat at #20 yesterday, all dropped off the chart.
5. Drama shorts split, with StoryReel at #5 and ReelShort at #100
StoryReel jumped 10 to #5 and DramaWave 7 to #20, joining PineDrama at #6. The older names went the other way: ReelShort fell 32 to #100, DramaBox to #57 and BlinkDrama to #62.
